How to Remove Oil Buildup From a Sealed Dining Table

A sealed dining room table can see a lot of wear and tear. All the use and touching of the dining table can lead to oil and grease buildup from diners' hands and the food they eat or prepare at the table. The shine of the sealed dining table will begin to look dingy and grimy. You will need to properly clean the oil and grease off with a special heating method. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    1

Moisten a rag with water and wipe away any loose debris on the sealed dining table.

    2

Plug in the iron and allow it to warm up at the low heat setting and shut the steam off.

    3

Lay the cotton sheet over the dining table.

    4

Run the iron back and forth over a small area for 10 seconds. Continue this over the entire sheet. This will melt the oil and grease and allow it to soak into the sheet.

    5

Polish the entire surface of the table in a circular motion with a clean rag after you remove the oil-soaked cotton sheet.
