Beer pong is a popular drinking game on college campuses in America and around the world. Although the rules vary from college to college, the general idea is to get ping pong balls into pints of beer arranged in triangles at opposite ends of the table; the opposing team must then drink the beer. A beer pong table is very easy to make at home and will serve as a centerpiece for your next house party.
Instructions
- 1
Position the plywood board on a flat work surface and arrange the table legs so they do not clash when they are folded. The table legs are made of metal and can be bought at any hardware store. They are inexpensive and easy to install.
2Attach the folding table legs to the plywood board by drilling screws through the pre-fabricated holes in the legs.
3Sand the entire table with the sandpaper and wipe any dust away with a damp cloth.
4Apply the primer using a paintbrush. This will help the paint hold better.
5Mark out the position of the triangular glass racks on each end of the table in painters tape; this is where the beer glasses are placed during the game.
6Paint the table. Customize the table with your college colors or college logo if desired.
7Apply a second coat of paint if required.
8Remove the painters tape that marks the triangles when the paint is dry.
9Apply a coat of clear lacquer to the entire table using a paintbrush. This will protect the table from damage from the beer and any cleaning liquids you use on it.
